The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Sunny day in Chicago today and there was this bright stripe of sun light casted down between the sky scrapers in downtown. I reduced exposure by three stops to cut out the background and waited for interesting pedestrians to step into the bright zone.
